In April 2025, our volunteers embarked on an incredible mission; to repair, restore and revive the Happy Tails shelter in Nafpaktos, Greece. Run entirely by local volunteers, Happy Tails is a place of refuge and hope for over 100 rescued, abandoned and abused dogs.The documentary Django Unchained tells the moving story of what we achieved.

Successful as our 2025 trip was, we knew our mission would not end there. We knew our help would soon be needed again and recent events have proved us horribly right.

In January 2026, Winter storms ravaged the Happy Tails shelter, tearing down kennels and storage sheds, flooding pens and exposing dogs to the elements and breaking the hearts of local volunteers who work so hard to keep the dogs safe.

So in April 2026, we return to Nafpaktos, this time to Rebuild, Repair, Restore, Revive.
