25 kg, 11-month-old Gel (short for Gelert) is a true legend.

Whilst our Gel can’t claim quite the same degree of heroism, we think he deserves a medal for surviving life on the streets without letting it break his spirit. See the video for proof:-

A shepherd/hound X, Gelert is never happier than when he is surrounded by others – be it a dog or human pack! Young, playful, joyful and energetically searching for his forever family, Gel simply wants everyone to get along. His hidden talent is his ability to stop other dogs fighting by simply, calmly, putting a paw out to stop them. No bites, no growls, just the calming paw of Gelert placed on their heads!

The puppy nipping Gel displayed when trying to grab people’s attention (and love) on the streets has entirely gone. He is now simply full of love of affection and desperately looking for a forever family. He is brilliant with other dogs, walks nicely on a lead (although doesn’t like being caught!) and can be tested with cats as need be
